Hi all,

I'm considering holidays in Bulgaria (July) and I'd like to do some planespotting at the mentioned airports. Can you provide me with some help? Are there any special places? Should I expect problems with police? I prefer to take pictures of flying a/c but taxing are OK too.

Thanks in advance!

Marcin from Warsaw, Poland.

I don't know why...?

I've sent it to adress from your signature:

Hi!

I'll be very gratefull if you can show me some spotting locations in Burgas. I'd like to take photos, particulary of rarer a/c like Il-86 and other Russian types. I will have telephoto zoom with max 320 mm.

I'll contact you when I book my holiday,

thanks a lot and all the best!

Marcin

write your mail so i can send you a "map" of the spotting positions and how to get there... you must know that you have to walk 2 3 km :) there is a lot of grass, no place to sit and the sun is very hot... :D

sorry for the bad anglish :)

for anyone interested in pictures mostly from EPWA:

http://airnews.pl/

the website is currently polish language only, but please give it a try (there is little text, except on homepage). basically everytime you'll see registration, aircraft designation, carrier name or location you can click it and only selected photos will be shown. there are also indexes:

http://airnews.pl/view/aircraft_index
http://airnews.pl/view/airline_index
http://airnews.pl/view/location_index
http://airnews.pl/view/registration_index

(i hope the urls are pretty self explanatory). check the aircraft and airline indexes, it allows to see what kind of aircraft is used by particular carrier (and vice-versa) using technologies like AJAX and so on.

hope you'll enjoy it. if anybody is interested in technical details, please contact me

thanks a lot. nearly all photos from 2005 were taken using Canon 55-200 II lens, pictures from 2005 were taken using Canon 70-200 4.0/L. camera is Canon Eos 350D

yes, they use Piaggio, but there is also a similar polish construction (not used by them).
