A fantastic opportunity for a talented Mechanical Design Engineer well versed in Ingress Protection has become available with an innovative Mechanical Enclosures company based in Birmingham. With a couple of roles available there are flexible, attractive salaries of up to £45,000 on offer.
Key Skills
•Provable background in Mechanical Design industrial roles
•3D CAD design skills, ideally in Solidworks, though other packages considered
•Background within Design of Enclosures, Protective Environments, Casings or similar are essential
•Knowledge of Design for Manufacture, esp. in Sheet Metal, Extrusions, etc
•Thermal knowledge around heating/cooling products is useful
Role
You'll be getting involved with full Project lifecycles, taking your products from requirements to production. •The complete design cycle from conception to manufacture
•New product development and enhancement of our standard products
•The creation of custom designs to specific customer needs
•Creating the process documentation to enable production to manufacture your new or modified designs
•Reviewing current product design and manufacturing methods to improve the current products
•Be able to create designs that at their core are designed to be suitable for manufacture
•Responsible for creating the BOM of the new or enhanced designs
•Reviewing current product design and manufacturing methods to improve the current products
