Египет откри ново международно летище в Гиза

Египет откри вчера ново международно летище в покрайнините на Кайро в опит да намали натовареността на основната аерогара в столицата и да даде тласък на туризма, съобщи Ройтерс.
Летище "Сфинкс", намиращо се близо до пирамидите в Гиза и до новия Голям египетски музей, е още в пробен период и се очаква да обслужи 30 полета до началото на февруари. Проектът за 17 милиона долара е част от план на министерството на туризма да направи по-достъпни историческите обекти за почиващите в курортите по Червено море като Шарм ел Шейх и Хургада. Аерогарата ще заработи с пълен капацитет през 2020 г.
След бурните години след избухването на Арабската пролет, през които туризмът пострада, приходите в сектора започнаха да се повишават. През първата половина на 2018 г. достигнаха 4,8 милиарда долара. Това е 77 процента растеж на годишна база.

Egypt's new Sphinx International Airport opens for first run of regular domestic flights

The new Sphinx International Airport (SPX) in western Cairo saw its first regular domestic flight as part of a trial operation of the airport, which is the part of the government's plan to stimulate tourism to the country.
The Minister of Civil Aviation Younes El-Masry and thr Minister of Tourism Rania Al-Mashat attended the ceremony to launch the flight from Sphinx to the popular South Sinai resort of Sharm El-Sheikh.
The airport aims to alleviate pressure on Cairo International Airport, which is located in eastern Cairo, and serve the Greater Cairo districts of 6 October and Sheikh Zayed, as well as the governorates of Fayoum and Beni Suef.
It also aims to serve tourists coming to visit the pyramids and the new Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), which is set to open in 2020, according to a statement issued by the ministry.
Construction work on the new airport started in 2017 by the Egyptian Consultancy Company with a budget of EGP 300 million.
Saturday’s flight was one of 30 flights scheduled to run by state airliner EgyptAir from 25 January to 9 February from Sphinx to the domestic airports of Sharm El-Sheikh, Hurghada, Luxor, and Aswan
During his tour of the new airport, El-Masry said that 2019 will witness a breakthrough in the civil aviation industry through the construction of new airports in the New Administrative Capital, which is located 45 kilometres east of Cairo, and the resort town of Berenice in Marsa Allam’s on the Red Sea in South in south Egypt.
The SPX has been dubbed the “300 passenger airport” per its accommodation capacity per hour.
The airport has a 975 square metre departure hall and a 1,100 square metre arrival hall. It also has a VIP hall.
The new airport is equipped with state-of-the-art technology in air traffic control and automatic landing systems and security systems such as x-ray explosive detectors and high end CCTV and thermal surveillance cameras.

Интересно. Въпросното "бутиково"летище всъщност е на ок. 40 км. по шосе от пирамидите, което е горе-долу същото като до основното летище на Кайро. До второто обаче пътят минава през центъра на града и трафикът е, общо-взето, ужасен, докато за новото летище се кара главно през пустинята. Дано се появи някакъв смислен транспорт за туристите между двете точки.

С три писти , до пирамидите и пряка връзка за Александрия - не бих го определил за бутиково ,а за стратегическо. Една от фунциите му е вътрешни полети до Хургада и Луксор .

Доколкото разбрах, пистата за граждански полети момента е една, макар и хубава, 3.6 км. Останалото е военна база, която си е съществувала и преди. Нещо тип "Увда" край Ейлат се получава. А за "големината" на летището говори капацитетът на терминала му, 300 пътника на час. Та, за мен си е "бутиково". Но би било готино да има по един ранен сутрешен полет от Хургада и Шарм аш-Шейх с връщане късно вечерта - особено ако новият египетски музей мине от състояние "хубаво е, но не е готово" към нещо по-работещо. Добавете бърз и удобен превоз между летището и пирамидите/музея (те са на едно място) плюс добър гид (а такива поне имат) и получавата екстра пакет за $199 на ден, от който и туристите ще са доволни, и бизнесът ще е печалба (два полета по 50 долара, вход за пирамидите 20 долара и за музея 10, още 10 за трансферите и останалото печалба по веригата).

За първи път чувам ,че три взаимно свързани големи писти на едно летище - може да бъдат диференцирани за военни и цивилни цели.Зоната на всяко летище подлежи на единно ръководство с една кула и подход.Дейностите на различни ведомсва в невоенно време се ръководят от лицензирания аеронавигационен доставчик ,който на едно летище ,може да е само един.

Serbia to fund ten new routes from Niš

The Serbian Ministry for Construction, Transport and Infrastructure has allocated funds to subsidise the launch of ten new routes from Niš Constantine the Great Airport. The Serbian government will adopt new regulation tomorrow for the introduction of Public Service Obligation (PSO) flights from the south-east Serbian city. Furthermore, the government will determine ten European points which will be linked with Niš under the PSO contract, after which it will launch tender procedures for each, with airlines to be invited to submit their bids. "We expect for Air Serbia to take part in the public call, which will be open to all airlines", Zoran Ilić, the Assistant Minister for Transport, said.

Serbia to publish VINCI contract "within a month"
“The Serbian Assistant Minister for Transport, Zoran Ilić, has said that the government will publish its contract with France's VINCI for the 25-year concession of Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport "within a month". Mr Ilić noted that modifications to the airport's master plan are currently being finalised in cooperation with the operator, after which the contract will be made public. There have been repeated calls for the document to be published. The government previously said it would do so once the financial construction of the billion euro transaction was completed, which occurred in December of last year.”

“Terna, the wholly owned subsidiary of Greece's construction and real estate conglomerate GEK Terna, has confirmed it will build a new terminal at Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport by 2024. The company told EX-YU Aviation News the new facility will have a total surface area of 42.000 square metres. It will also refurbish the existing terminal buildings. The company, which will be tasked with constructing a new runway as well, has until 2024 to complete all contracted work. The project budget had been set at 262 million euros.”

The French concession and construction company VINCI will today officially unveil its plans for Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport which it took over at the end of last year. A ceremony will be held at the airport's Terminal 1 building starting at 17.15 local time. It will be attended by the President of VINCI Airports, Nicolas Notebaert, and the Prime Minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabić, both of whom will address the media. It marks VINCI's first public event in the country since signing the 25-year concession agreement in March of last year. The French company has earmarked 262 million euros for the construction and refurbishment of the airport's facilities over the next five years.
Last month, VINCI contracted the Greek company Terna to undertake a series of infrastructure overhauls by 2024, aiming to develop and upgrade Belgrade Airport's capacity and operating conditions. Further project details are expected to be outlined today. However, Terna has already confirmed it will build a new 42.000 square metre terminal, while existing terminals will be refurbished. Furthermore, a new 3.500 metre runway will be built, while the existing 3.400 metre runway will be upgraded. A total of nine new taxiways will be developed, the existing apron will be expanded, and a new 55.000 square metre apron will be built. Terna has also been tasked with expanding the deicing platform by another 6.200 square metres. Landisde, a new car park, with a capacity for 2.400 vehicles, will be built and new curbside/sidewalk infrastructure and facilities for departures/arrivals handling will be developed. Other projects which are to be completed by 2024 include road work around the airport, encompassing some 3.500 metres, a new rainwater drainage system, marking and static signage, lighting and CCTV camera systems. Furthermore, construction of auxiliary building facilities and other infrastructure works such as waste water and solid waste treatment plants, a heating plant, a meteorological station and a solar panel plant, amongst others, will be built.

Летището в Дубай спря за кратко всички полети заради дронове
Всички полети на международното летище в Дубай временно спряха в петък сутринта заради дронове,
съобщи говорител на компанията, който го управлява, цитиран от "Ройтерс".

Ограничението е продължило едва 32 минути - от 10:13 до 10:45 ч. местно време (8:13-8:45 ч. българско).

Най-натовареното в света летище съобщава за инцидента след проблеми
с двете най-големи британски летища - "Хийтроу" и "Гетуик" - както и с "Нюарк" в САЩ.

Всички инциденти бяха обяснени с дронове, прелетели край летищата.

Румънският град Сибиу, който беше обявен за културна столица на Европа за 2007-ма, е бил посетен от над един милион и двеста хиляди туристи от началото на годината, информира днес вестник "Ромъния либера", цитиран от БТА. Половината от посетителите са били чужденци, които са похарчили в града повече от двеста милиона евро.
Според данни на румънското образователно министерство, 80 на сто от европейските граждани са научили, че Сибиу е културната столица на Европа през самата 2007 година.
