Имаш право.

Airbus confirms an A340-600 was damaged and five people were injured in a ground test accident at the company’s Saint-Martin site in Toulouse.
The aircraft sustained damage when it somehow broke free of its parking chocks during engine run-ups around 5 pm, local time. News photos taken at the scene show the aircraft's nose rammed through a blast deflection wall.
“At this time, recovery operations are still in progress and Airbus staff is working closely with the emergency services and local authorities at the site,” an Airbus statement says.
Nine people were aboard the aircraft at the time of the accident. The condition of the five injured person was not immediately available.
“Airbus expresses its sympathy to the families and friends of the [injured] persons concerned,” the company adds.
The aircraft, with tail number MSN 856, was due to be delivered to Abu Dhabi-based Etihad Airways, "in the coming days," Airbus says.

Thomsonfly unstable Bournemouth approach under investigation

The UK Air Accidents Investigation Branch confirms that it is investigating an "unstable approach" by a Boeing 737-300 at Bournemouth International airport in the UK.
Unofficial sources say that incident on 23 September involved a go-around following an uncommanded power reduction that left the aircraft at stalling speed during the approach.
The crew disconnected the autopilot and autothrottle to recover the
aircraft successfully to safe flight, but witnesses report that the nose-up attitude during recovery exceeded 40° and the airspeed reduced to approximately 90kt (166km/h) at its lowest point. The crew then carried out a safe landing at the airport, the AAIB confirms.
Because the AAIB is still studying the case, which is known to have involved a Thomsonfly 737-300, it will only confirm that the event took place and that it is formally under investigation.
The airline has not responded to requests to comment. Thomsonfly is one of the airlines owned by the international TUI Travel group.

Напоследък наистина лош късмет за Airbus:

Seven injured in Airbus A330 test flight depressurisation

Seven occupants of an Air Mauritius Airbus A330-200 aircraft were taken to hospital after a depressurisation incident yesterday (21 November).
The twin-jet, the first of two A330s ordered by the carrier last year was performing a customer-acceptance flight from Toulouse, the final step in the process before an aircraft is delivered. It had been due to be formally received by Air Mauritius in the next few days.
Ten people were on board the aircraft: three Airbus personnel, six from Air Mauritius and one representative of a supplier. Two pilots and an observer were in the cockpit at the time, while the others were moving around the cabin.
"While in the cruise there was a sudden decompression," says a spokeswoman for Airbus. "When it happened it was so sudden that there was no time for [those in the cabin] to grab oxygen masks. Some became dizzy and unconscious."
There is no firm information on the altitude of the A330 at the time. Standard procedures following decompression include performing a swift descent to an altitude of around 10,000ft where atmospheric oxygen density is sufficiently high.
Seven people were taken to hospital as a precaution although all but one have since been released. The Airbus spokeswoman describes the occurrence as a "minor incident" and says none of the occupants suffered serious injuries.

Iberia indicates Quito overrun A340 will be repaired

Iberia is leaning towards repairing the Airbus A340-600 badly damaged in a runway overrun at Quito in Ecuador two weeks ago, although the carrier has yet to reach a final decision.
The 18-month old jet, owned by the carrier, suffered damage to its left-hand engines and undercarriage during the 9 November accident.
A spokeswoman for Iberia says: “We think it will be repaired. But this is still to be decided.”
Investigators, engineers and assessors have been examining the jet in order to decide how to remove it from the accident site, at the northern end of Quito Airport’s runway 17/35.

Toulouse A340 throttles not idled until 2s before wall collision

Flight-recorder information from the Airbus A340-600 involved in the Toulouse ground-test accident last week shows that the aircraft’s engines were not retarded to idle until two seconds before the jet struck its test-pen wall.
The aircraft, which had been performing an engine and brake test, was travelling at around 30kt (55km/h) at the time of impact.
French investigators have determined that the A340-600, which was undergoing pre-delivery checks, was being held at standstill with the parking brake on and all four Rolls-Royce Trent 500 powerplants running with a relatively high engine pressure ratio of 1.24-1.26.
Wheel chocks were not inserted under the aircraft at the time of the 15 November accident.
In an information telex to operators Airbus states that high-thrust engine ground runs are normally only performed on one powerplant at a time, with the corresponding engine on the opposite wing running at limited thrust to counterbalance. It adds that wheel chocks should be installed during such tests.
While the parking brake is set, the A340’s alternate brake system provides the brake pressure. This pressure was normal during the Toulouse A340’s engine run.
Investigation agency Bureau d’Enquetes et d’Analyses states that the aircraft, for as-yet undetermined reasons, began to move forward after the engines had been running for about 3min.
The Airbus communication says the crew applied brake-pedal input within 1-2s of the initial movement and switched off the parking brake; the regular braking system’s pressure rose to its normal level.
But Airbus adds that all four engine thrust levers were only retarded to their ‘idle’ setting about 2s before the aircraft collided with the wall. By that point the aircraft had been in motion for around 11s.
“There is no evidence of any aircraft system or engine malfunction,” says Airbus vice-president for flight safety Yannick Malinge. “Airbus reminds all operators to strictly adhere to [aircraft maintenance manual] procedures when performing engine ground runs.”
Investigations are still continuing into the accident which destroyed the aircraft and injured several of the nine personnel on board. The jet had been scheduled for delivery to Etihad Airways on 21 November.

MD80 Atlas Jet TC-AKM):

Passenger aircraft crashes in Turkey

Turkish rescue crews have reportedly reached the wreckage of a Boeing MD-83 that crashed while on a domestic flight early this morning and reports say it appears all on board were killed.
Authorities told local media that all of the 49 passengers and seven crew on board are believed to have been killed in the early-morning crash of the aircraft, which was being operated for local carrier Atlasjet.
Based on preliminary information, the MD-83 crashed while on approach to the southern city of Isparta’s Suleyman Demirel Airport, which is surrounded by mountains.
The aircraft was on a domestic flight from Istanbul. It is thought it was being wet-leased by Atlasjet from World Focus Airlines and was registered as TC-AKM.
According to Flight’s ACAS database the aircraft was built in 1994. It had a manufacturer’s serial number of 53185.

MD-83 crew sighted airport before crash: Atlasjet

Turkish carrier Atlasjet says the Boeing MD-83 which crashed while preparing to land at Isparta early today suddenly lost contact with tower controllers during approach, adding that there is no immediate indication of a technical problem.
Flight KK4203 from Istanbul Ataturk crashed in a region of high terrain, on a 5,000ft peak west of the Kilic region and north of a village identified as Cukuroren. Kilic lies just to the northwest of Isparta Suleyman Demirel Airport.
The flight was a night-time service; it was scheduled to depart at 23:20 yesterday but the late arrival of the aircraft inbound from Pristina meant the take-off was delayed until 00:50.
Meteorological data from Isparta for the period around the time of the accident shows that weather conditions and visibility were good.
Forty-nine passengers and seven crew were on board the aircraft, leased by Atlasjet from World Focus Airlines. Three cabin crew were from Atlasjet while the other four crew members – both pilots, the cabin chief and a technician – were from World Focus.
Atlasjet chief executive Tuncay Doganer says: “Communication was established with the tower, over Isparta Airport, the airport was seen, and as from this moment communication with the aircraft [was] cut off.”
The airline was informed at 06:15 that the aircraft had crashed. Rescue teams have not found any survivors and recovery personnel have reportedly retrieved the aircraft’s flight recorders.
Doganer says the aircraft was conducting the final stage of its approach in preparation to land when contact was lost, adding there is no evidence that the aircraft had a technical problem.
He says: “The weather was moonlit and extremely appropriate for the flight. Our pilots have just returned from training and are extremely experience. It is not a point of issue that the pilots were sleepless or [lacking rest]. The [reason] as to why the aircraft could not reach the airport after seeing [it] will be determined at the end of detailed investigations.”
