
A Kalitta Airways (Ypsilanti) B747-200F (N704CK msn 22299) slid off of the runway in Brussels after a rejected takeoff and spilt in two earlier today. The pilot told rescue crews that he had heard a ‘large noise’ while attempting to take off just after midday. It is not clear what caused the accident as of yet, but an investigation is underway. Four of the five crew members on board were injured during the crash.
